You can download the Hotline MP3 audio file to your computer by clicking the "Download Audio" link below the Hotline player on the Hotline page. If you do not see this link, try refreshing your browser and wait for the page to reload. Once you have downloaded the file to your computer, you can transfer it to your iPod or other MP3 player as you normally would.
The MP3 audio Hotline requires a browser plug-in capable of playing MP3s. Usually multimedia programs like Windows Media Player and Apple Quicktime come with an MP3 compatible browser plug-in. If your web browser does not appear to have a plug-in installed, you should check your browser's help files or contact your browser's tech support to ask how to install one.

The Independent Adviser for Vanguard Investors and FFSA are operated in association with InvestorPlace Media LLC, a publisher specializing in providing more than one million readers with leadership and solutions to improve their wealth.
The Independent Adviser for Vanguard Investors provides independent investment advice on the Vanguard family of mutual funds. Editor Dan Wiener, a long-time advocate of Vanguard investors, is dedicated to helping his subscribers achieve higher returns with less risk and meet their personal financial objectives with confidence. The service gives members strictly independent and unbiased in-depth information on all of Vanguard's equity and bond fund offerings, as well as advice on their international funds, variable annuities and money markets.
Subscribers receive a 12-page monthly newsletter with articles covering recent and upcoming changes at Vanguard, proprietary risk and return analysis, a Performance Review of all Vanguard's funds complete with Buy, Sell and Hold ratings and four model portfolios for aggressive, conservative, index and income investors. With The Independent Adviser for Vanguard Investors, you will have access to exclusive fund manager interviews, fund distribution information, market updates, tax efficiency advice and many other tools to make investing easier and more profitable for you.
Subscribers also receive automatic membership in the Fund Family Shareholder Association at no additional charge and full access to AdviserOnline.com and its members-only forum.
Chances are if you have been investing at Vanguard, you and your portfolio have already done quite well. Our goal is to give you expert and unbiased information to do even better. Dan offers you smart ways to navigate Vanguard's rules and roadblocks and points you to the very best funds they offer. And while many of Vanguard's funds are exceptional, there are, as with most fund companies, funds you should stay away from. Some Vanguard funds have poor tax efficiency or other drawbacks that make another Vanguard fund a better choice. Dan also fills you in on which Vanguard funds have little-publicized "loads" (although Vanguard won't ever admit any of their funds have loads!) so you can avoid paying more than you need to and have every penny of your hard-earned money working for you. This is all information Vanguard won't share with you, but because Dan is not affiliated with Vanguard, he can and does in every issue.
The Fund Family Shareholder Association (FFSA) is an independent investor association providing objective financial information on mutual funds and protecting the interests of mutual fund investors. FFSA has tens of thousands of members from all over the United States. FFSA membership is provided to all subscribers of The Independent Adviser for Vanguard Investors at no additional charge.
